- Inés Echeverría Goñi holds a degree in Agri-Food Engineering from ENSAIA (Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Agronomie et des Industries Agroalimentaires) Nancy (France) and a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Navarra (Spain). She has held various positions in the food industry, in the areas of Quality Control and Research and Development of New Products at the Nabisco and United Biscuits Spain biscuit production plants. She also headed the Biomass Department at CENER (National Renewable Energy Centre) before joining CNTA.
- Since February 2016, she has been Director of the R&D&I Department at CNTA (National Centre for Food Technology and Safety). She has more than 25 years of experience in the development and management of national and international R&D projects, notably as Coordinator of the European CO-FRESH Project ‘Co-creating sustainable and competitive fruits and vegetables value chains in Europe’ (2020-2024). She is Co-Chair of the Training and Technology Transfer Working Group of the Food For Life Spain Platform and a member of the FoodForce network among others.
