MONNERY-PATRIS Sandrine

INRAE, Centre For Taste and Feeding Behaviour, FRANCE

  • Sandrine Monnery-Patris is a researcher at the Center for Taste and Feeding Behavior (CSGA), INRAE, Dijon, trained in Cognitive and Developmental Psychology.
  • Her research addresses eating behaviors from early childhood onward, with a particular focus on the sensory, cognitive, and social determinants of food consumption in the context of current challenges related to public health, social equity, and environmental sustainability.
  • – Her work aims to identify key mechanisms underlying the acquisition, consolidation, resilience, and transformation of eating habits across development. It integrates the study of emerging food-related behaviors linked to societal changes (e.g., food system transitions, evolving social norms, food insecurity, participatory and co-creation approaches), with the objective of generating actionable knowledge to inform preventive and intervention strategies.
  • Ultimately, her research seeks to contribute to the development of inclusive, acceptable, and ethically grounded approaches that promote healthier, more sustainable, satisfying, and socially responsible diets, while improving long-term health and well-being across populations.
